In order to take on-site review of pace of work on different developmental projects, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan visited Handwara.
On reaching Handwara, the Deputy Commissioner visited under-construction buildings of Girls and Boys hostels of Government Medical College Handwara and checked the pace of work of both the Hostel buildings.
The DC directed the executing agency to speed up the pace of work on both the buildings and increase the working hours so that buildings are completed well in time.

The DC was accompanied by ACD Kupwara, Nodal officer GMC, Tehsildar Handwara and other concerned officers.
Later, the DC visited Badarkali and Badkote villages of Handwara and inspected the Amritsarovars constructed by RDD.
