In order to finalize the Action Plan and arrangements for smooth conduct of Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme (IPPI)-2024, a meeting of District Task Force(DTF) Committee for was today held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner took a first hand appraisal about the arrangements being put in place by the line Departments for smooth conduct of upcoming Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme (IPPI), 2024-25On the occasion, the DC was apprised that over 1.90 lakh children of the District in the age group of 0-5 years will be administered polio vaccines on March 03, 2024 across the District for which adequate arrangements have been put in place.The DC was informed that Aaganwari/Asha Workers shall visit door to door on March 3rd and March 4th to cover the left out children in the age group of 0-5 years for the Immunization process.
