SRINAGAR 30 May : S. Surinder Singh Channi, Senior Congress Leader called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on and projected various issues related to development of Tral and employment opportunities for the local youth.

Goverdhan S. Rawat, Deputy Managing Director, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), also called on LG Sinha.

A delegation of Kashmir Road Safety Foundation (KRSF), led by its Chairman Nasir Ali Khan, called on the Lieutenant Governor.The members of the delegation briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the upcoming “Youth Against Drugs National Sports Festival 2026,” aimed at strengthening the fight against drug abuse among youth.

The initiative is expected to witness participation from teams representing eight states as well as two teams from Nepal, promoting the message of a healthy, drug-free society through sports and youth engagement.
