Jammu, Dec 19 : Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Thursday inaugurated the Jammu office of Kashmir News Bureau (KNB), marking a significant expansion of the multimedia news agency’s footprint in the Jammu region.
Speaking to the media on the occasion as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Deputy Chief Minister appreciated Kashmir News Bureau for its commitment to credible, factual and responsible journalism. He congratulated Editor-in-Chief Malik Sajid and the entire KNB team on the opening of the new office in Jammu.
“I congratulate Malik Sajid and his team for this initiative. Kashmir News Bureau has consistently presented real and responsible news, and I hope it will continue to uphold the same standards of truthful and professional journalism in Jammu as well,” Surinder Choudhary said.
He also highlighted the vital role of responsible media in strengthening democracy and ensuring that people receive accurate and unbiased information.
MLA Bandipora Nizamuddin Bhat, District Development Council (DDC) member Dr Harbarash Singh, and DDC member Taranjit Singh Tony were among those present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention that Kashmir News Bureau is a multimedia news agency with its head office at Rajbagh, Srinagar. The inauguration of its Jammu office aims to further strengthen news coverage and journalistic outreach across the Jammu region. (KNC)
