DGP J&K offers solidarity and support to injured Police jawan at GMC Jammu

To express solidarity, compassion, and support for the brave police jawan who was injured during an encounter at Kota Top, Kerloo,Bhalessa, Doda the Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir R.R.Swain on Thursday visited the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.

Accompanied by ADGP Jammu Anand Jain, DIG JSK Range Sunil Gupta, SSP Jammu, SSP Traffic Jammu and other senior officers the DGP besides meeting the jawan,his relatives also met with medical professionals and hospital staff to enquire about the treatment and recovery progress of the injured personnel.

The DGP J&K while acknowledging the tremendous efforts and sacrifices made by the brave personnel to overcone the challenge of terrorism, assured the that the Jammu and Kashmir Police department stands firmly behind them, and the jawan and his family will receive the best possible care and support throughout the recovery process.

The DGP said that the presence of senior officers alongside him displays the department’s support for its personnel.

He wished the jawan a speedy recovery and also provided cash assistance to him.
