As a sequel towards taking governance at people’s doorsteps, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Forest, Ecology and Environment Dheeraj Gupta, today presided over a mega public darbar at Sopore.
The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, Chief Conservator Forests, Irfan Rasool, Senior Superintendent of Police, Shabir Ahmad Nawab, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shabir Ahmad Raina, CEO Municipal Council Sopore, district officers, members from traders associations, transport associations, delegations and locals from adjoining areas of sub division Sopore.Dheeraj Gupta inspected the stalls set up by various departments including health, agriculture, education, horticulture, ICDS under Viksit Bharat Yatra to create awareness among the public about multitude of welfare and development schemes being run by the government.
