DHSK seals IVF clinic at Rajbagh

Srinagar, December 03: Continuing its efforts to stream line health care services in private sector across Kashmir, Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir (DHSK) sealed one unregistered clinic namely Well Spring Clinics at Rajbagh, Srinagar.

The Directorate today sent a divisional level team comprised of senior officers who sealed the unregistered In-Vitro Fertility (IVF) Clinic under PCPNDT and Clinical establishment Act.

Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Saleem ur Rehman while stating the Directorate had been receiving complaints against the said clinic and was running illegally, said that the department is acting tough on all the genuine and verified complaints. He said that any illegal or unethical practice will not be allowed to flourish by the department.

The Director furthermore mentioned that a divisional level committee is already constituted which has been inspecting private health care establishments routinely so that better health care is provided to the patients under rules and regulations.
