Director Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir, Ms. Purnima Mittal (KAS), chaired the Departmental Promotion Committee meeting at Directorate of Animal Husbandry Department-Srinagar on 31st October, 2020 for promotion of executive and ministerial staff of the department.

The meeting was attended by Joint Director, Frozen Semen Project, Dr Ghulam Rasool Beigh (Co-optic member), Joint Director Poultry, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Shah  (Co-optic member), Deputy Director(Central), Dr Ghulam Ahmad Lone (Member Secretary), and Under-secretary to Government,   Mr. Nissar Ahmad Wani.

‘There was a long pending demand of the staff of the Animal  Husbandry Department for a grant of promotion to eligible members’, said Dir ADH Kashmir.

He said, ‘In the marathon meeting, a total of 239 promotion cases of different cadres like Dairy Supervisors, Assistant Veterinary Officers, and Senior Veterinary Pharmacists etc were cleared’.

Meanwhile, the executive and ministerial staff of the department expressed gratitude to the worthy director for the timely clearance of pending DPCs.
