Director Rural Development Department, Jammu Sudershan Kumar along with Assistant Commissioner Development, Udhampur Mushtaq Ahmed Chowdhary conducted an extensive tour of Udhampur and Tikri Blocks here on Monday.
Director interacted with the Block Development Chairperson, Sarpanchs and panchs of the area and inspected the ongoing development works under MGNREGA , SBM, 14th FC and Jeevika in Panchayat Malhar, Tikri, Mand East, West, Roun and Seen Thakran.
During the visit, he asked for following Covid -19 protection measures on the work site including wearing of the mask and maintaining social distancing by the workers engaged for construction. He asked the officials to make available hand sanitizing and drinking water facilities available at the work site.
He directed the BDOs to work with zeal and dedication for the smooth implementation of the schemes under and achieving the targets.
