Srinagar, July 20: Director SKIMS, Dr. Ashraf Ganie, on Monday visited SKIMS Medical College Hospital, JVC Bemina, to assess the situation after heavy rainfall led to flooding in parts of the hospital premises.
During his visit, Dr. Ganie reviewed the ongoing relief and restoration measures and interacted with hospital officials to ensure that patient care and emergency medical services continued without disruption.
He directed the hospital administration to take all necessary steps for the swift drainage of accumulated water, safeguard critical infrastructure, and ensure the safety and convenience of patients, attendants, and healthcare workers.
Hospital authorities said teams were working round the clock to restore normal conditions, with emergency services remaining operational despite the adverse weather. The Director also assured that all required support would be provided to minimize the impact of the flooding and maintain uninterrupted healthcare services.
