According to reports a 40-year old woman identified as Aisha Akhtar wife of Showkat Ahmed Bhat of Narbal had gone to SMHS Hospital Srinagar to inquire the health of a patient on yesterday morning and since then she is untraceable.

“We tried to call her but her cell-phone is powered off,” one of the family members told news agency Kashmir News Trust.

The family members and locals today blocked the road demanding to trace the ‘missing’ woman.

Police rushed to the spot and informed the protesters that a case has already been registered and efforts are on to trace the missing woman.
