District Disaster Management Committee meeting held at Udhampur

The District Disaster Management Committee met here today under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Sham Singh.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, Tehsildar Udhampur Jai Singh, Tehsildar Head Quarter Arushi Sabharwal, Dr. Farhat Bashir (DSHO), CAHO, Sanjay Gupta, Deputy CMO and district officers from different departments.After thorough deliberation, the committee sanctioned 11 relief cases in accordance with the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) norms. It is noteworthy that incidents of fire, flash floods, and landslides occurred across the district, especially in the hilly areas, resulting in significant damage to public and private properties, as well as livestock.Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai, the District Administration promptly processed all relief cases, and the relief, as per SDRF norms, was approved at today’s meeting. The ADDC Ghan Sham Singh directed all concerned officers to expedite the processing of pending relief cases and ensure timely reporting, following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of SDRF.
