DLSA Budgam holds awareness programme

District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Budgam today held awareness cum sensitization programme to prevent spread of pandemic corona virus at district court complex Budgam.

The programme was presided over by District Sessions and Principal Judge, Chairman DLSA, Raja Shujaat Ali. Speaking on occasion, Chairman DLSA said that there is no need to panic instead every person must follow the prescribed measures and guidelines to contain spread of disease. He impressed upon all employees and advocates working in the court must ensure proper hand wash hygiene and follow WHO’s course of action in order to prevent getting affected as courts are visited by large number of people every day.

On the occasion, District Health Officer, AG Raina spoke threadbare on the covid-19 and explained on symptoms, preventive measures, treatment. Munsiff Judge, Secretary DLSA Tabasum Qadir Parray said that there was urgent need of awareness about the disease as many local residents have returned from affected countries. On the occasion, DLSA Budgam also distributed masks and pamphlets among the staff and visiting persons for awareness and prevention of infection.
