District Magistrate Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganai accompanied by SSP Budgam, Amod Ashok Nagpurei, ADC, Dr. Nasir Ahmad, ACR, ARTO, DIO and other concerned officers today flagged off Vehicle provided by ARTO Budgam, Mubashir Jaan, equipped with public address system to facilitate announcements, besides posters, placards, paintings, depicting and demonstrating hazardous and dangerous effects of Corona Virus pandemic on humans. The vehicle also depicts precautions and preventions about how to remain safe from this deadly virus.
Speaking on the occasion the DM said prior to this initiative, many measures were taken to aware the common masses about the pandemic. Keeping in view the prevailing circumstances and necessity to take the awareness message at the door steps of common people, a unique initiative was required to be introduced by way of doing announcements depicting messages regarding preventions and precautions about how to remain safe and unaffected from this deadly virus.
He said that the initiative is most quick way to reach the common masses. He said that after observing the response, more such vehicles equipped with all logistics shall be introduced to do the roundings across the District till it is assured that the message has reached to all concerned.
