REASI, APRIL 11 2020

District Magistrate (DM), Indu Kanwal Chib has issued a fresh order restricting unnecessary and inter-district movement of government as well as bank employees.

In view of widespread Covid-19 infection, the DM has directed that no district officer shall leave district during the ongoing lockdown period without the former’s permission. Only those persons, who are dealing with supply of essential commodities would be allowed to move with due permission signed by the DM.

In the order, the District Magistrate remarks that several employees from the adjoining districts, who are posted in the district, are regularly commuting to and from adjoining districts as well as the Red Zones therein. It has been reiterated by the DM that the movement passes issued to those officers/ officials are meant for intra-district travel only.

In critical situations, officials are to seek written permission for specific task and specific day from the District Magistrate.

The order issued today restricts the movement of all such employees posted within the jurisdiction of district Reasi.
