Kashmiri renowned Socio-Political Activist Agha Syed Karar Hashmi deeply anguished by the news of brutal assassination of BDC Chairman Khag Budgam Bhupinder Singh and termed the said act cowardice. Added that Such happenings in Kashmir is Shocking beyond words and Highly reprehensible act.
Hashmi added that BDC Chairman Bhupinder Singh was shot dead at around 7.45 pm at his native village in Khag outside his house. Such acts need global condemnation and We condemned the killing of BDC chairman and calling it an attempt to “trigger fear psychosis” among the minorities in the Valley. Need of an hour is that people of Kashmir must have a courage to call spade a spade, not good to behave like spectators.
It is a deliberate plan to target minorities with an aim to create fear among them. We condemn this cowardice act with strong Voice. Whosoever kills a person it shall be as if he has killed all mankind. How long killings and counter killings will continue in Kashmir ? May Allah grant deported soul rest in peace and provide bereaved family courage to bear such irreparable loss. Agha Hashmi added
