This innovative approach not only helped in reusing plastic but also contributed towards the school’s commitment to saving the environment. By repurposing plastic into planters, the students demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and creativity in finding sustainable solutions to environmental challenges.

Mr. G.N. Tantray, Chairman of Doon International School, and Dr. Vikesh Kaur, Principal of the school, were present at the event to support and appreciate the efforts of the students. They emphasized the significance of Earth Day and the importance of protecting our planet for future generations. Both Mr. Tantray and Dr. Vikesh Kaur encouraged the students to continue their efforts in keeping the earth safe and advocated for reducing the use of plastic to mitigate environmental impact.
