After visiting different places in north and south Kashmir to organize ‘Booth Workers Sammelan’ in past five- days, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) state general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul, addressed senior party workers at party office at Jawahar Nagar here, on Monday.
While sharing his five- day experience with party workers, Kaul expressed happiness that people have acknowledged the party’s developmental model.
“People are joining the party after realizing its pro people agenda without any discrimination on the basis of creed and caste,” Kaul told the workers.
Kaul, Thanked party cadre for turning in huge numbers to attend party activities despite prevailing situation in Kashmir. “You are the ambassadors’ of our party,” he told workers, adding, use party platform to work for the welfare of all sections of society without any discrimination with region and religion.
‘Seva He Dharam Hai’, ‘Insaniyat ki khidmat karna hamara maqsad hai’,” Kaul told workers.
Kaul also added that BJP don’t discriminate people on the basis of religion or region. “BJP treats all religions equal that is why BJP has two Muslim cabinet ministers in state,” he said.
Kaul reiterated party workers to work hard to strengthen the party cadre at the grass root level by organizing door to door campaign and work for the marginalized section of society.
MLC, Surinder Amberdar told the workers to reach out to the youth in Kashmir and involve them in main stream politics. “Youth is the future of a nation, we must encourage youth to join the mainstream,” Ambardar told the workers.
On the occasion scores of people joined the party in presence of Kaul.
M Y Bhat, G M Sheikh, Shabir Ahmad, Arbaaz Ahmad, Hakeem Sahil, Dr Ghulam Rasool Dar, Javaid Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad Najar and professor G M Paul were the prominent faces.
