Mumbai, March 14: Dr. Bushra Khan, Founder of Healers Global Pvt. Ltd., has been appointed as a National Executive Member of the Foreign Medical Students’ Wing (FMSW) of the All India Medical Students’ Association for the 2026–2027 term.
The association, registered under the Indian Societies Act XXI of 1860, works to support medical students and Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) across India and abroad. Its Foreign Medical Students’ Wing focuses on protecting the rights of FMGs while promoting academic development, professional opportunities, and transparency related to medical education overseas.
In her new role, Dr. Khan will contribute to national initiatives aimed at empowering Foreign Medical Graduates, guiding Indian students pursuing medical education abroad, and advocating for improved opportunities and fair representation for FMGs within India’s healthcare system.
Dr. Khan is also the founder of Healers Global Pvt. Ltd., an organisation engaged in coordinating international medical evacuations and air ambulance services for critically ill patients requiring urgent medical transportation across borders. Through her work, she has been involved in facilitating emergency evacuations and medical transfers for patients seeking advanced treatment and specialised care.
Speaking about her appointment, Dr. Khan said she was honoured to be part of the AIMSA leadership.
“This platform plays a crucial role in supporting and representing Foreign Medical Graduates. I look forward to contributing to initiatives that empower students and strengthen collaboration within the medical community,” she said.
Her appointment reflects AIMSA’s continued efforts to strengthen its national leadership and expand its role in providing a unified platform for medical students and Foreign Medical Graduates.
