Highlight his contributions, express solidarity with bereaved family
Srinagar | Friday, 01 December 2017: Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mr. Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Former Chief Justice of India, Justice Adarsh Sen Anand. Extending their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Dr. Farooq and Mr. Omar Abdullah prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Saying that Justice Anand was an illustrious son-of-the-soil and had brought laurels to the State, Dr. Farooq Abdullah highlighted his contributions in the field of justice and said his work would be remembered for a long time to come.
Senior NC Leaders including NC General Secretary Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Provincial Presidents Nasir Aslam Wani and Devender Singh Rana, State Spokesperson Junaid Mattu besides party functionaries and legislators have also expressed grief over Justice Anand’s demise and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
