Extend felicitations on Urs of Sheikh Noor-ud-din Wali (RA)

SRINAGAR, JUNE 21- Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah have greeted the people on auspicious occasion of  Shab-e-Qadr.

In a message, Dr Farooq Abdullah said that this holy night provides us an opportunity to pray for Almighty’s blessings and strive for being compassionate, pious and dutiful.

“It is the unique and holy night when Almighty Allah chose to reveal the holy Qu’ran to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the guidance of the mankind,” Mr Omar Abdullah said in a separate message, adding that the occasion provides opportunity to us to spend the night in praying and seeking forgiveness and blessings from Allah.”

Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah wished prosperity and peace to the State and prayed for well-being and welfare of the people.

Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mr. Omar Abdullah also extended their felicitations to devotees no the occasion of Urs of Great Sufi Saint, Alamdar-e-Kashmir, Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani (RA) and said his teachings and spiritual legacy was the guiding light of the State’s rich traditions of sufism and spirituality.
