Paying obeisance at the shrine, Dr. Farooq Abdullah prayed for stability and development of the State and well being of the people. Dr. Farooq Abdullah also interacted with devotees and also inquired about the upkeep of the shrine and offered prayers.

While talking to reporters outside the shrine, Dr Farooq emphasized the need of imbibing the teachings of the revered saint in our lives and said that this spirit has to be maintained at all costs.

“People of the state are going through tough and trying times. Its therefore imperative for all of us to rise above our narrow needs and common together as a united force to quell the evil designs of those who are hatching conspiracies to harm J&K and its people,” Dr Farooq said.
