The Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday has approved the deputation of Dr. Yasmeen Ashai, Director Colleges, J&K, as the Dean Academic Affairs at Cluster University of Srinagar.
In an official communication, Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Government, stated that the deputation is sanctioned in the interest of administration. Dr. Yasmeen Ashai will serve as Dean Academic Affairs at Cluster University of Srinagar on an ex-cadre basis for a period of one year or until her superannuation, whichever comes first. She will retain her lien and promotional prospects in her parent cadre and will receive her salary as Principal from the office of Director Colleges, J&K.
Furthermore, the order specifies that Dr. Yasmeen Ashai will continue to fulfill her responsibilities as Director Colleges, J&K, alongside her new role until a replacement is appointed by the Administrative Department or until the end of her extended tenure, whichever occurs first.
