Driver of a SUV was killed while nine persons onboard it were injured when the vehicle skidded off the road and overturned at Tanghdar area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.

According to news agency reported that the vehicle bearing registration number JK01W-5979 met with the accident at Neeti Galli Nawagabra area of Tanghdar and fell into a gorge, resulting in on the spot death of the driver Intekhab Alam son of Mohammad Sayab, a resident of Nowagabra Tanghdar and injuries nine others.

The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

A police officer confirmed the mishap to adding that a case has been registered in this regard. ( GNS )
