Speaking to news on the sidelines of the Adi Shankaracharya Jayanti celebrations at Tagore Hall, SSP Srinagar Dr. G.V. Sandeep Chakravarthy said 15-20 FIRs have been registered against drug peddlers in the last 10 days alone.

We will not only arrest drug peddlers but also seize their properties to dismantle the ecosystem,” the SSP said.

He said the cultural event at Tagore Hall strengthens communal harmony and helps connect youth with their roots, adding that the Jammu and Kashmir Police will always support such initiatives.

On the Darbar Move, Dr. Chakravarthy said a comprehensive security plan is in place to ensure safe transit of employees from Jammu to Srinagar.

“There will be peace and security around the office,” he said.
