SRINAGAR 06 Jun : The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has confirmed Shahida Parveen, formerly In-Charge Master at BMS Halwan in Mattan zone of Anantnag district, as Master in Pay Level 6E, with retrospective effect from July 25, 2022.
The confirmation was sanctioned through Order No. 213-DSEK of 2026 dated June 2, 2026, following recommendations made by the Divisional Level Departmental Promotion Committee during its meeting held on August 7, 2024.
According to the order, Shahida Parveen has been confirmed as Master on the analogy of similarly placed counterparts who were regularised under Order No. 280-DSEK dated October 21, 2023. She will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 35,900–Rs 1,13,500 under Pay Level 6E.
Official records show that Shahida Parveen, bearing seniority number 235 in Anantnag district, was appointed and regularised as a teacher on July 14, 2005. She holds a BSc and B.Ed qualification and completed her B.Ed degree in 2012.
The DSEK order stipulates that the confirmation is subject to verification of service records, appointment and promotion documents, uninterrupted service status, and the absence of any adverse reports from vigilance, crime, police or other investigating agencies.
The order further states that the confirmation will remain subject to the outcome of any pending court cases and will not be applicable if the official is under suspension or facing departmental or vigilance proceedings. The Chief Education Officer, Anantnag, has been directed to verify all relevant records and ensure compliance with the prescribed conditions.
The official has also been asked to furnish an affidavit before a Judicial Magistrate First Class certifying that no court case, departmental inquiry or investigation by any agency is pending against her, besides submitting an updated service verification certificate.
