Due to technical snag at Zainakote Grid Station, power supply to remain affected in five grid stations in Sgr: KPDCL

Power supply will remain affected to areas fed from 5 grid stations due to technical snag at transmission level in one of the 150MVA transformer bank of 450MVA Zainakote Grid Station, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited said here on today.

Chief engineer distribution KPDCL told that the power supply to areas fed from following Grid Stations shall remain partially affected during today evening and Intervening night hours of 20th and 21st November.

“However, men and machinery of JKPTCL Kashmir is putting all efforts for speedy restoration and rectification works. In this connection,” he said.

Meanwhile, as per the notice power supply will remain affected to five grid stations including Grid Station Rawalpora, Grid Station Wanganpora, Grid Station Bemina, Grid Station Zainakote, Grid Station Pattan and Grid Station Magam.

“Areas to remain affected include Rawalpora, Sanat Nagar, Barzulla, Humhma, Parraypora and adjoining areas, Soura, Hawal, Zadibal, Nawakadal, Safakadal and adjoining areas, Karan Nagar, Qamarwari, Bemina, Batmaloo, Barthana, Parimpora and adjoining areas, HMT, Omerabad, Zainakote, Narbal, Sharifabad and adjoining areas Pattan and adjoining areas Magam, Beerwah and adjoining areas,” reads the notice.
