The pledge ceremony was attended by all the Administrative Secretaries, Secretaries in various Departments besides other officers and officials of the Civil Secretariat here.Srinagar based officers participated through video conferencing.Like last year the theme of NVD 2024 has been set as ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote For Sure’. The Day is celebrated to renew the faith of the citizens of the nation in democracy and it’s traditions here.It also beckons the voters to participate in this democratic process with dignity ensuring free, fair and peaceful elections. The pledge also encourages them to vote in every election fearlessly without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or other inducements.
