A moderate intensity earthquake jolted the Jammu and Kashmir region on Thursday.
No loss of life or injuries or casualties have been reported.
The earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale with epicentre in Jammu and Kashmir region occurred at 2.28 a.m. today, ANI news agency reported.
On June 1, an earthquake of the same magnitude occurred in northern India at around 4:20 a.m.
Shockwaves were felt in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon and other nearby places.
