In a significant step towards promoting literacy and education among non-literate adults who didn’t get a chance to go to school, Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Syed Qamar Sajad today flagged-off a mega rally of volunteers of Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society (ULLAS) from DC office complex, here.
The rally was organised by Education Department Baramulla and was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Raina; Chief Planning Officer, Javaid Ahmad; Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Balbir Singh Raina; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Arshid Ahmad Khan; Deputy Superintendent of Police, volunteers from ULLAS, teachers and others.
