Education Minister Altaf Bukhari has been given additional charge of Finance, Labour and Employment departments, a government order said on Tuesday.
The charges were earlier withdrawn from Haseeb Drabu who was dropped from the cabinet over his remarks that Kashmir “isn’t a political issue” but a society with “societal issues”.
An order issued today by chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, read: “In pursuance of Rule 5 of Jammu and Kashmir government Business rules and as an interim measure, I Mehbooba Mufti, do hereby assign the charge of the departments of the Finance, Labour and Employment to Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari in addition to the government business already assigned to him.”
“This is in partial modification of order no: 427-GAD of 2018 dated March 12” she added.
