Educational Heads directed to ensure 100% attendance of staff

Government has directed all the head of Educational Institutions to ensure 100% attendance of the teaching and non-teaching staff in their respective institutions.

Chief Education Officer Srinagar has issued a formal order directing Principals, Headmasters and Zonal Education Officers to submit attendance of staff on daily basis through an online application.

The order as per reads that it has come to the notice of Chief Education Officer that heads of some schools have issued rosters for 50% of their staff on their own. As there are no such directions from the Government till date.

It directed all the heads of educational institutions to ensure 100% attendance of staff in their respective schools and desist from such exercise till Government issues any direction in this regard. (KNT)
