The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today visited several Eidgah’s including Eidgah Jadeed and Eidgah Qadeem in Baramulla to review arrangements put in place for the Eid ul Adha congregational prayers there.
During her visit , Dr Sehrish directed for upgradation of facilities there saying that all services should be put in place for convenience of devotees thronging the Eidgahs during Eid ul Adha.
The DC also directed the concerned departments to make all streetlights in the area functional and ensure thorough maintenance of cleanliness in and around the Eidgahs on the auspicious occasion of Eid.
Meanwhile, the DC also interacted with concerned representatives and listened their issues. The DC gave on spot directions to the officers concerned for early redressal of their genuine issues.
Moreover, directions were also issued to other officers to ensure all possible arrangements in the district so that the people shouldn’t face any kind of inconvenience.
The DC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Baramulla, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad, DYSP HQ Altaf Khan and other concerned officers.
