Speaking to reporters during his visit to the Kheer Bhawani temple, Garg said the festival is being celebrated not only at Tulmulla but also at Mansgam, Devsar, Logripora and Tikkar.

He conveyed his best wishes to devotees who have arrived from Jammu and different parts of the Kashmir Valley. “All necessary facilities have been arranged for pilgrims, as is done every year”.

The Divisional Commissioner expressed hope that Kashmir’s tradition of celebrating festivals together in an atmosphere of harmony and mutual respect would continue to be preserved and strengthened.
