Dubai, March 23: K Pen: Dubai witnessed a dynamic gathering of women entrepreneurs and investors at EmpowerHer – Season 1, a pioneering platform dedicated to bridging opportunities for Indian women in the UAE.

The event featured a high-powered panel discussion on “Women in Startup Investments” at the IPF Startup Event, organized in association with the Consulate General of India in Dubai, FICCI, and the IPF UAE Women’s Council.

Renowned entrepreneur Jozie Habib, who was part of the discussion, shared her enthusiasm about the energy and ambition in the room, fueled by startup pitches, collaborative dialogues, and a shared vision for an inclusive startup ecosystem.

The event was graced by H.E. Mr. Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India, who delivered an inspiring speech on women’s empowerment. A special appreciation was extended to Reema Mahajan, founder of Indian Women in Dubai (IWD), for her unwavering commitment to uplifting women entrepreneurs in the region.

Jozie Habib also expressed her delight in sharing the stage with trailblazers like Lubna Naeem, while connecting with a community of driven women shaping the future of business.

“From India to Dubai—we’re building global empires together!” she remarked.
