Srinagar, July 3 : Reacting to Union Minister Jitendra Singh’s comment that BJP didn’t surrender on the issue of Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Jammu and Kashmir, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday said everyone knows that it is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that ‘surrendered’ in this relationship.

“We know you didn’t surrender, no one says you did. Everyone knows that it’s the PDP that surrenders in this relationship,” Abdullah, who is the working president of main opposition National Conference, tweeted.

Abdullah, whose party is opposed to the implementation of GST in its present form in the state, was reacting to Singh’s comment that GST will be implemented in the next three-four days in the state and that there was no ‘surrender’ over the issue.
