Faiz Dijoo quits JKPC, set to contest Assembly Elections as Independent Candidate

Prominent political activist Faiz Dijoo on Monday announced his departure from the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference (JKPC).

In a recent post on ‘X,’ he revealed that he parted ways with the party several days ago, though the news has only just become public. Dijoo extended his best wishes to the party and, according to close associates, his decision was driven by his electoral commitments in the upcoming assembly elections.

Sources indicate that Faiz Dijoo is expected to run as an independent candidate from a constituency in Srinagar.
