Jammu, Jun 20 : Family members of two persons who died during cremation of a Corona Virus positive patient in Jammu staged protest and blocked main highway of Gangyal on Saturday.
Both the person had died under mysterious circumstances on Thursday afternoon after one of their close relative, who was corona virus patient, was being cremated in the outskirts of Jammu city.
According to Press Trust of Kashmir (PTK), the District Magistrate also ordered a magistrate inquiry into the matter appointing Additional District Magistrate Law and Order Jammu as inquiry order.
Meanwhile, family members of both the deceased assembled at Gangyal on Jammu highway and staged protest on Saturday.
The family members said that government has reportedly announced some ex gratia which is not acceptable to them.
We demand that a fair probe be conducted into the matter, protesters said.
