A doctor Wednesday evening slammed media as well as Microbiologist Department for making her sex as a subject of discussion.
As per Covid-19 information provided by the officials, Dr Tajamul who is a female has been described as male and at the same time shown as pregnant. On the other hand a section of media claimed that Dr Tajamul is a male but shown as pregnant.
“The reality is that I am a female, 9 months pregnant. My name is Tajamul and that’s why people thought I am a Male,” Dr Tajamul told News Agency adding that she was disturbed the way social media made fun of the error committed by officials.
“The error is inadvertent and social media should not make fun of it,” she said adding that without verifying the facts some News Agencies described her male.
Dr Tajamul who hails from Baramulla was declared Covid-19 positive today. She is posted at Kreeri Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district. ( KNT )
