Besides killing two sheep, stray dogs also seriously injured 6 sheep.

The incident occurred at Ramwari Gund area of Kangan.

The owner of the sheep Ishtiyaq Rashid Hajam told news agency that a pack of ferocious stray pounced upon the sheep, killing two and injuring six others. He said all the six sheep sustained critical injuries and they are all serious.

As per locals, stray dogs have created havoc in Ganderbal village, often attacking and killing livestock, while the administration is in slumber and so for no action has been taken to curb the canine population. (KNT)
