Two government offices were gutted in a devastating fire in Beerwah division of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

Locals said fire engulfed the building, housing offices of Social Welfare and JK Board, around 3 am.
They said that fire was brought under control after four hours, resulting in massive damage to the offices.
It was not immediately known if the government records were saved. However, witnesses said that fire would have damaged the records.
