Srinagar, Jul 19 : The Kashmir Super League (KSL) has taken the Valley by storm as football enthusiasts from all corners of the region pour into the TRC Football Stadium to witness the high-calibre matches.

The ongoing league has become the latest crowd-puller, reigniting Kashmir’s long-standing love for football.

As per the details obtained by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), from children waving flags to elders clapping in rhythm with the crowd, the KSL has turned into a celebration of sport and spirit.

The city is witnessing a rare wave of excitement, unity and passion, with each match drawing hundreds of spectators.

“Every evening feels like a festival,” said 22-year-old Feroz Ahmad, a local fan from Sonwar Srinagar. “I have been coming here daily. The energy, the cheers, this is the Kashmir I love to see,” he said.

Moreover, players too are overwhelmed by the support. “The roar of the crowd keeps us going,” said a player from Srinagar.

In the meanwhile, organisers of this league believe this response reflects the growing thirst for a vibrant sports ecosystem in the region.

Moreover, the matches as marked by nail-biting finishes and dramatic goals, have also attracted attention from scouts and sports authorities, offering a potential pathway for young players to enter the professional circuit.
