For Second Consecutive Day, Kashmiri Travellers Stranded at Wagah Border

Kashmiri travellers especially students on Thursday were asked by Punjab police to come on Friday morning students to so that they can talk with Indian immigration.

Despite the directions by Indian authorities as students approached towards border Punjab police was assigned check points so stop students from reaching border.

“They played game with students, many of the police official went to hotels to confirm where students were residing, students are at roads, many of the students doesn’t have money to travel back, female students are stuck on roads Indian immigration is making excuses they are asking for eligibility documents which is not possible for students to get” said Sajad Ahmad one among the students.

He also added that they behaved very rudely and it is very pathetic they are making students to suffer a lot in matter of their career.

“Universities are taking exams it is very urgent for students to reach at earliest” he explained.

It is pertinent to mention that Indian authorities at Wagah Border in Amritsar, Punjab on Wednesday disallowed Kashmiri travellers to visit Pakistan through the border despite having proper visa.
