Srinagar, July 23: Former President of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association, Tasleema Subhan, passed away in the intervening night of July 22 and 23 after a prolonged illness. She breathed her last at around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, leaving behind colleagues, friends, and family in mourning.

According to family sources, she had been battling illness for the past several months. Her funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janaza) will be offered at her native Place, Basant Bagh,Srinagar
People from different walks of life have expressed grief over her demise and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. The bereaved family has appealed to all to remember the deceased in their prayers.
