Former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and senior National Conference (NC) leader Vijay Bakaya has resigned from the party.

Bakaya had sent his resignation letter to the National Conference leadership, which was accepted by the National Conference, Provincial President, Devinder Singh Rana, on behalf of National Conference, President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, who is presently under detention.
