Foundation World School has taken a significant stride towards fostering creativity and awareness among its student body with the inauguration of Club Formation Day. The event, held today, introduced four distinct clubs, each meticulously crafted to cater to the diverse capabilities and interests of the students.
With a commitment to holistic education at its core, Foundation World School aims to provide a platform for students to explore their passions, enhance their skills, and broaden their horizons through engaging activities and initiatives. Recognizing the importance of comprehensive learning experiences, participation in club activities has been made mandatory for all students.
The newly introduced clubs encompass a wide spectrum of interests:
Literary Club: Students will delve into critical thinking, communication abilities, and a rich array of literary works through book discussions, debates, and writing workshops.
STEM Club: Members will immerse themselves in hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, fostering problem-solving skills, creativity, and innovation.
Art and Design Club: Offering a creative outlet, this club encourages students to express themselves artistically, experiment with various art forms, and develop essential design principles through workshops, exhibitions, and collaborative projects.
Sports Club: With sub-clubs focusing on Football, Swimming, Badminton, Cricket, Trekking, Volleyball, and Basketball, students will engage in physical activities that promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Legal Literacy Club: Already functional, this club empowers students with knowledge about legal concepts and their application in daily life.
Environmental Club: Students will gain awareness about environmental issues, learn sustainable practices, and actively contribute to initiatives aimed at protecting the planet. Beyond the educational benefits, participation in these clubs offers students the opportunity to stay connected to global events and trends. Through online forums, guest lectures, and collaborative projects with students from other schools worldwide, Foundation World School ensures that its students remain informed and engaged with developments beyond their immediate surroundings.
Expressing enthusiasm about the initiative, Mr. Ummar Sheriff, Principal of Foundation World School, stated, “Club Formation Day marks a significant milestone in our efforts to provide students with holistic learning experiences. We believe that by embracing their diverse interests and talents, students will not only excel academically but also develop essential life skills and values.”
The event received an overwhelming response from students and faculty members, reflecting the collective excitement and anticipation for the enriching experiences that lie ahead.
