Foundation World School proudly announces the success of its three-day book reading session held in commemoration of World Book and Copyright Day. With the 2024 theme, “Read Your Way,” the event aimed to foster a love for reading across all ages and backgrounds.

Held from April 21st to April 23rd, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty alike. Under the banner of ‘Read Your Way,’ the school aimed to reignite the passion for books and literature, countering the prevailing trend of declining book reading habits.

Students showed remarkable enthusiasm as they engaged in reading sessions, discussions, and activities centered around a selected book. Their eagerness to explore the world of literature was palpable, reflecting a renewed interest in the joy of reading.

“We are thrilled to see the overwhelming response from our students towards embracing the culture of reading,” remarked Mr. Ummar Sheriff, Principal of Foundation World School. “In an age dominated by digital distractions, it’s heartening to witness our students rekindling their love for books and the written word,” he added.

Through carefully curated reading lists, insightful discussions, and innovative activities, the English Department has ignited a spark of curiosity and imagination in the hearts of students.

The event not only encouraged individual reading but also fostered a sense of community and shared experiences through group discussions and collaborative activities. By celebrating World Book and Copyright Day, Foundation World School reaffirmed its commitment to promoting literacy and intellectual growth among its students. As we commemorate World Book and Copyright Day, Foundation World School extends its gratitude to all participants and reaffirms its dedication to nurturing a lifelong love for reading and learning. This event was proudly organized by the passionate educators of the English department at Foundation World School.
