Srinagar, Feb 25: The Met Centre Srinagar has predicted a fresh spell of rain and snow in Jammu and Kashmir from February 25 to 28.

According to the forecast, most places in Kashmir and Jammu divisions can expect light to moderate rain and snow, with isolated heavy rain and snowfall.

The snowfall is expected to continue till March 1-2, with generally cloudy skies and light rain/snow at scattered places.

Tourists and travelers are advised to plan accordingly and follow administrative and traffic advisories, as the snowfall may cause temporary disruptions in surface transportation.

Farmers are also advised to suspend irrigation and other farm operations to avoid any damage to their crops.

Day temperatures are expected to drop significantly during this period.
