Funeral Prayers of Former Minister Ghulam Ahmad Shah Held at Qazigund

Srinagar, Feb 14: Funeral prayers of former minister Ghulam Ahmad Shah were offered at Qazigund in Anantnag district with a large gathering of people from across south Kashmir paying their last respects.

Several senior political leaders and public representatives attended the funeral and expressed condolences with the bereaved family. Among those present were Farooq Abdullah, Sartaj Madni, Abdul Majeed Larmi, and Peerzada Feroze Ahmad Shah.

Leaders described Ghulam Ahmad Shah as a dedicated public servant who worked for the welfare of the people and made valuable contributions to public life in the region. They prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss.

Local residents, party workers, and well-wishers also joined the funeral prayers, recalling the late leader’s role in public service and his connect with the grassroots.
