Srinagar, Nov 2: Gathri Meray Armano Ki is a heartfelt story of a Kashmiri shawl seller who, with the arrival of winter, shoulders a bundle filled not just with shawls, but also with his dreams, hopes, and aspirations. Travelling across different states of India, he sells shawls to earn his livelihood, carrying with him a story of perseverance, dignity, and the enduring human spirit.
Yet, his journey goes far beyond the pursuit of a livelihood. Wherever he travels, he spreads a message of love, humanity, and brotherhood. At a time when certain elements attempt to sow seeds of hatred and create divisions in society, the film reminds us that such voices do not represent the spirit of the people.
